I started out in Interior Design doing up my own motels in Regional NSW. This, coupled with my Architectural studies, led me to designing hotels for myself and creating my own brand concepts.
The first of these was de Russie Suites in Orange-created in my head from a fantastic trip through Italy. It was my photo album of my favourite hotels, colours, towns and cities.
Next came Fox and Co Hotels, Perry Street Hotel in Mudgee and The Houston in Wagga Wagga.
I had a blast conceptualising the brands, how they look, smell, feel, sound...the interiors and the floor plan would be from a trip, a city, a favourite night out in a far away place!
I studied Architecture in Sydney for a few years, started a fashion business with my mum in the 90's in Regional NSW, started a family and then launched into hotels, hotel designing, interior design and brand designing.
I will be heading back to study in 2021 starting an Engineering degree with an Architecture major, with my focus being directed to designing commercial and residential projects with zero impact to the environment...can't wait!
I recently moved my family to have a taste of coastal living, moving to Thirroul in NSW at the beginning of 2020.
I had an inkling that the South Coast was on my horizon but had no idea t would be this stunning place.
My studio showroom and retail space is located in the heart of this lovely beachside suburb of Wollongong at 3/309 Lawrence Hargrave Drive.
